Cancellation and Reservation Policy

Reservation Policy

To secure your reservation, a payment equal to 50% of the total rental rate is required. We accept payments made by sending cheques to the owner (except for casa sonrisa and casa iguana) at no extra cost, or through paypal (we ask a payment fee of 4%). You can book 6 of our houses through VRBO.com also, you do pay about 10% extra in commissions/fees with VRBO.

Final Payment/Security Deposit:
The remaining balance, 50% of the total rent is due 6 weeks prior to arrival date. We require a $400 USD security deposit, which will be reimbursed within 1 week after departure when no damage is done to the house.

Cancellation Policy

A written notice or phone call is required for cancellation.

100% of any payment made toward the total rent shall be refunded if reservation is cancelled 60 days prior to arrival date. 90% of any payment made toward the total rent shall be refunded if reservation is cancelled 30-59 days prior to reservation date. No amount shall be refunded if reservation is cancelled 30 days or less prior to reservation date.

We don’t refund payment fees.
